The first step in stain removal is to blot out as much of the stain as possible if it is still wet.

Very Important! Never Rub a Stain. Blot only!!!!

Many times a stain is removed but the damage from rubbing a spot especially on silk garments causes permanent damage which can ruin a garment. By blotting with an absorbent towel or paper towel you draw out the stain without causing damage.

Stains fall into 3 major categories, Grease - Plants – Animals and then there are combinations of these categories. Keep the 4 major spotting chemicals on hand and you will be able to remove most stains. Warning! For delicate or special items be sure to consider having us remove the stains safely for you by our experts at French Cleaners Inc.
